HopeShop is managed by Signs Publishing, which has been producing books that promote positive values, health and well-being since 1885. Signs’ recent book Food as Medicine was awarded “Best in the World for Health and Nutrition” at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards in 2017.

Originally based in the inner-Melbourne suburb of North Fitzroy, Signs Publishing moved to Warburton, Victoria, in 1906. The current Signs building was completed in 1938 and is now heritage listed. It continues to both print and publish in Australia, as well as distributing and retailing high quality books from around the world on health, well-being and spirituality.
