About DVDs

Can DVDs & Blu-ray be used outside Australia and New Zealand?

DVDs and Blu-ray discs generally have restrictions that prevent them being played outside the geographical area where they are sold. Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands are part of DVD Region 4 and HopeShop’s DVDs and Blu-ray discs may be restricted to be played within this region. It is advised that you check your player to ensure that it is compatible with Region 4 discs before making your purchase.
