Blessed Are They 

This is a book of stories. Stories of people who are changing lives.
People who are truly the blessed.
Through sacrifice, by putting others’ needs ahead of their own, they are living out the Beatitudes. They are bettering people’s lives on the earth as they exemplify their Father in heaven through various ministries.
They are the stories of those whose lives have been transformed through a ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, or an associated lay ministry.
Summer camp gives parents of special needs kids a much-needed break.
Day care program allows children of beggars to go to school.
Loans on milk cows provide low-income women a source of income.
School helps First Nation youth rise from the cycle of abuse and suicide.
And more.
Each story is about a life that has been shown God’s love.
There are hundreds of Adventist ministries around the world. Some of these ministries are well known, and others are quietly serving where they are needed. Large or small, each ministry is making an impact on the lives it touches.
The common thread for all of these ministries and their stories is their association with, and past support from, Versacare, Inc., an independent foundation that has served Adventist ministries with financial grants since 1990.
